Established in 1986, Arrowhead Powder Coating has grown from a small shop into a 9,000 square-foot facility that performs several types of powder coating. Built in 2014, Arrowhead’s new shop includes a coating oven, two coating booths, a tumble blaster, and a blast cabinet. A burn-off oven removes oil, paint, and other unwanted substances from metal before coating. An enclosed blast room cleans larger pieces using steel grit. Powder is stored in a climate controlled room inside the facility.
We have the ability to coat parts up to six feet wide and 25 feet long.
Our business has historically been helping oilfield customers solve corrosion problems. We coat the inside of fittings, fabricated pieces, and pipe to slow the effects of salt water and chemical corrosion. In 1995 we expanded our operation to coat other types of metal, including but not limited to airplane components, automotive frames and accessories, motorcycle parts, wheels, and lawn furniture. Powder coating is also the coating of choice for most metal equipment manufacturers. Most lawn furniture, lawn mower decks, and after-market auto accessories are powder coated. Powder coating is environmentally friendly. It does not contain solvents or thinners.
Arrowhead Powder Coating applies several types of powder including:
